Overview:       

C-Tec’s Fire Chute Door for Trash, Recycling, and Linen Chutes is designed with a 12-gauge galvanized plate that slides in a steel track. Our Fire Chute Door is an insulated plate, spring loaded and held open with a UL Approved fusible link. The Discharge Door has a 1-1/2 hr fire damper with fusible link designed to melt when the temperature of a fire reaches 165 degrees. This will then close the door to stop fire from traveling up the chute into the building. C-Tec’s Trash, Recycling and linen Fire chute doors meets or exceeds all fire ordinances. Our Fire-rated doors undergo rigorous testing to determine their fire resistance capabilities. The rating is based on how long the door can withstand fire before failing to prevent its spread. Ratings typically include 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes.

The door is available in three standard sizes:  24″, 30″ and 36″ diameters.
